The Sierra Club will be hiking this Saturday in Zindel Park in Clinton County. This will be a 10-mile, strenuous hike on a variety of trails in this recreation area. The meeting time is 8 a.m. and interested hikers should meet at the McDonald's located at the McElhatten Exit of Route 220. You'll need to bring along plenty of water and a lunch. The hike leader is Joanne Heimer and you may contact her at firstname.lastname@example.org. Roy Fontaine is the leader for Sunday's moderate, 9-mile hike on the Golden Eagle Trail that's located in the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon. This trail is one of our state's real gems with plenty of great vistas. You and your fellow hikers should plan to meet at 8 a,m. in the Sovereign Bank parking lot in South Williamsport or you can head up to the trailhead for a 9 a.m. start. Give Roy a call at 570-220-4707 if you can go along for this wonderful outing.
