HALIFAX — Juniata used balanced scoring with four players finishing with double-digits points to beat Halifax in a Tri-Valley League tilt.
Carly Burns led the Indians with 16 points and Kylee Sorichetti scored 14 for Halifax.
Mount Carmel 50, Sunbury Christian 24
NORTHUMBERLAND — Ben Scicchitano and Tommy Lynott combined to nearly outscore Sunbury Christian by themselves, as the duo accounted for 23 points in the Red Tornadoes’ win.
Sciccitano led the Red Tornadoes (3-2) with 13 points.
The Eagles (5-4) were led by Blake Spangler-Jones’ 12 points. Spangler-Jones also grabbed down six rebounds in the loss.
Midd-West 68, Northumberland Christian 40
MIDDLEBURG — Ascher Marks found his long-range game with six 3-pointers to lead Midd-West to the non-league win.
Marks finished with a game-high 26 points while Gabe Bahner led Northumberland Christian with 12 points.
Meadowbrook Chr. 59, Grace Prep 26
MILTON — Kurtis Klodnicki helped lead the Lions’ offense, scoring a team-high 17 points while Tyler Baughman added 13 in a win over Grace Prep.
Meadowbrook Christian (4-2) led 31-14 at the half and held Grace Prep to single-digits in the final three quarters. No Grace Prep player scored in double-figures on the night.
Lourdes 69, Weatherly 45
WEATHERLY — Rachel Schultz had a huge night for the Red Raiders, scoring 26 points while Carmella Bickell added 17 and Bailey Trell scored 11 to lift Lourdes to a win over Weatherly.
Lourdes used a 28-point third quarter to pull away for good.
The Red Raiders improve to .500 at 5-5 on the year.
Southern Columbia 45, Selinsgrove 24
CATAWISSA — It was the quickest match of the night as Southern Columbia’s Blake Marks took just six seconds to pin Selinsgrove’s Anthony Showers at the 152-pound bout.
Marks’ pin was one of eight on the night, as the Tigers pinned Selinsgrove opponents six total times in the win.
Southern Columbia (5-2) got pins from Shane Casey (106), Todd Lane (120), Brett Shepherd (126), Bryce Harger (132), Kent Lane (138) and Marks (152).
The Seals drop to 2-2 on the year and are back on the mat today at Midd-West.
