MILTON -- Travis Krall led four Black Panthers in double figures, and Milton won its Orange and Black Tournament, 62-46, over North Schuylkill on Saturday with the help of a strong first quarter.
The Black Panthers (4-4) led 19-5 after the first period and extended their lead to 34-13 at the half.
"We had a real, real crisp offensive start," said Milton coach Gene Bruno. "We played our best first half of the year, took them out of their offense, and we played very balanced offense."
Logan Feltman added 14 points for the winners, while Ethan Baker and Wade Heidel each scored 10.
n Southern Columbia 35,
MILTON -- The Tigers got off to a little bit better start than the Rangers to escape with the consolation game of the Milton Holiday Tournament.
Mike Klebon tallied 13 points to lead Southern, which outscored Northwest 27-16 in the first half.
Penns Valley Holiday Tournament
n Mifflinburg 43,
SPRING MILLS -- Bellefonte made a late rally, but Logan Finsterbush staunched the comeback attempt by picking up a key rebound with only seconds left on the clock to preserve Mifflinburg's lead and the win in the consolation game.
Finsterbush finished with eight blocks, six rebounds and six points for Mifflinburg (5-2), which also got 14 points from Jeremy Uscowskas and 10 from Clark Sheakley, the latter was named to the all-tournament team.
"It was a real physical game. We were up by nine points after the third but Bellefonte's defensive pressure created some turnovers," said Mifflinburg coach Andre' Roupp. "We were able to execute our offense and we made some easy baskets down the stretch."
Wellsboro Holiday Tourn.
n Lewisburg 40,
WELLSBORO -- The Green Dragons completed their title run through the tournament by getting a game-high 20 points from Sam Allen.
"It was a very hard-fought game. We jumped up big and Wellsboro fought back -- and it's a credit to our guys that we kept our composure (at the end)," said Lewisburg coach John Vaji.
Allen was named the tourney's MVP following the game, plus Jesse Flannery was named to the all-tourney team for the Green Dragons (7-0).
Pine Grove Holiday Tournament
n Mahanoy Area 62,
PINE GROVE -- The Ironmen were out-scored 21-4 in the third quarter to fall in the tourney's championship game.
Shayne Riley tallied 14 points, and Zack Kozick chipped in 10 points in the loss for Danville (3-2).
Perry County Holiday Tournament
n Greenwood 53,
West Perry 47
ELLIOTTSBURG -- The Wildcats claimed their sixth Perry County Holiday Tournament title in a row as eight of their players scored at least three points in the game. Adam Harrison led Greenwood (6-2) with 13 points.
n Central Columbia 57,
ALMEDIA -- The Blue Jays got some early points down low in the first quarter, and it put the Seals in yet another early hole as Central took the non-league win.
Isaiah Rapp led Selinsgrove (0-5) with 18 points, and Ethan Fadale added 10 points.
Knights of Columbus Tournament
n Southern Columbia 46,

COAL TOWNSHIP -- Behind the efforts of Mackenzie Clark and Haley Levan, the Tigers claimed the championship of the 47th annual KofC tourney.
Clark scored 15 points and Levan added eight for Southern (6-1). Both girls were named to the all-tournament team for the Tigers.
In the consolation game, Lourdes (4-4) got a game-high 21 points from Carmella Bickel to take the win.
Bickel scored 12 of those points in the first half for the Red Raiders, while Bailey Trell added 18 points and Rachel Schultz chipped in 16 in the win.
Liv Bonshock paced Shamokin with 18 points.

Mount Carmel 37
MOUNT CARMEL -- A six-point first quarter didn't get the Red Tornadoes off to the best start, and they couldn't make up the nine points they fell behind by as they fell in the non-league game. Mount Carmel (5-2) was led by Izzy Stellar and her nine points.
n Newport Holiday Tourn.
NEWPORT -- With eight first-place finishes, Warrior Run claimed the tournament title with 249 points. Williamson was the runner-up (213) and Newport took third with 176.5 points.
Taking first for Warrior Run were Eric Hunt (113), Brian LeBarron (126), Zack LeBarron (132), Elias George (160), Jon LeBarron (170), Hunter Stroup (182), Hunter Bohannon (220) and Matt Kilgus (285).
George pinned his way to the title, as did Bohannon.
Jared Miller finished second at 106 for the Trojans along with Wes Cupp (195). Joey Hanford finished third at 152 for UDA.
n Selinsgrove wins all eight versus Vo-Tech
SELINSGROVE -- Selinsgrove swept Columbia Montour Vo-Tech, 4-0, in both the boys and girls nonleague matches.
Aaron Dues led the boys with a 661 series (214-267-180), while Alana Eisenhart led the girls' efforts with a 245 game and a 562 series.
