H.S. wrestling: Jersey Shore shifts momentum to best Shikellamy


Bacon and Jacob Huling, normally the Bulldogs' 220-pounder, battled to a scoreless first period before Huling escaped and took Bacon down, then clinched the team's win with a fall in 1:34.

"I thought he was in the match. They forfeited to Dwayne and I don't think they were that confident with their regular heavyweight (Jacoby Foresman)," Supsic said.

Gittens made it closer with a major decision at 106.

Nick Cashdollar had the lone pin for the Braves, a 50-second fall at 132.
