2013 Daily Item Cross Country All-Stars


Allison Graham, Lewisburg, Sophomore

As a repeat first-team selection, Graham picked up a pair of wins along with two top-five finishes on the year. She added a 20th-place showing at the Big Valley Invite (21:08), 10th at NEPA Invite (20:54), 5th at HAC Invite (20:08), 7th at districts (20:40) and 98th in the state meet (21:11).

Emil Haney, Danville, Senior

Posted three runner-up finishes and another top-five showing in dual meets this season to earn a second consecutive spot on the first team. Haney also was fourth at the Foundation Invite (22:23), 9th in the NEPA Invite (20:30), 7th at HAC Invite (20:12), 5th at districts (20:34) and 77th at states (20:55).

Mackenzie Jones, Danville, Sophomore

A repeat first-team selection, Jones won all four of the dual meets she ran in during the regular season for the Ironmen. She also placed 2nd at the PIAA Foundation Invite (19:55) and 3rd at the NEPA Invite (19:44) prior to winning the HAC Invite (18:51). Afterwards, Jones was 2nd in districts (19:46) and 24th at the PIAA championships (19:58).

Sarah Lemon, Mifflinburg, Junior

A fellow first-team selection from a year ago, Lemon won two races and finished in the top three in two other dual meets this year. She also was 25th at Foundation Invite (21:31), 12th at NEPA Invite (20:37), 6th at HAC Invite (20:09), 4th at districts (20:31) and 111th at states (21:20).

Maddy Messa, Danville, Sophomore

Had two top-five finishes in dual meets before she finished 4th at the HAC Invite (20:06), 6th at districts (20:37) and 76th at states (20:55).
