Prior to beginning play in the Allegheny Christian Athletic Association Tournament this weekend, the Northumberland Christian School girls basketball team still had some unfinished business to attend to.
A double-double by Jordan Carr and Calista Ulmer helped lift Northumberland to a 49-42 victory over Juniata Mennonite on Monday in the two team’s final regular season game.
Carr finished with a career-high 12 points and also 16 rebounds, and Ulmer added in 10 points and 10 rebounds.
Terah Lee Hayner chipped in 14 points for the Warriors (18-7, 10-4).
Next up for Northumberland Christian is the ACAA Tournament and a matchup with host Cambria County Christian in the first round on Thursday at 6:30 p.m.

NORTHUMBERLAND — The Warriors ended their season on a high note as they cruised to the Allegheny Christian Athletic Association victory.
Gabe Bahner contributed 10 points and eight assists in the win for Northumberland (9-14, 8-6 ACAA), while Austin Moore and Ryan King led the Warriors with 12 points apiece.
Troy Harris added six points and eight blocks for the Warriors.
