JOHNSTOWN — The Eagles will be making their second straight trip to the ACAA finals following a career night by Tori Erdman in Sunbury Christian’s semifinal matchup.

Erdman scored 24 points and had six assists and four steals, plus Faith Gingrich added 14 points and six rebounds for the Eagles.

Sunbury Christian next plays Juniata Mennonite in today’s championship game at 1 p.m.

WRESTLING

District 3 Tournament


HERSHEY — Upper Dauphin will have three wrestlers competing for medals after the completion of the first day of the Class AA tournament held at Hersheypark Arena.

Connor Boyer at 106 pounds and Coy Campbell at 113 both won their quarterfinal bouts for the Trojans to advance to the semifinals, while Trey Campbell fell in the quarters at 195 pounds.

Campbell, however, won his second-round consolation match by fall to stay alive for a third-place medal.

The semifinals get underway today at 9 a.m., with the finals following at 6 p.m.
