BACK IN ACTION: Port Royal Speedway returns to action on Oct. 11 and 12 with the 2nd annual Blue Collar Classic Weekend. The 305 sprint cars, limited late models and pro stocks are on Friday night while the Saturday show will be the 305 sprints and Super Sportsman.
TITLE FIGHT GOES ON: The 410 sprint car and 358 sprint cars will be in action tonight at Williams Grove Speedway. In the 358 sprint car standings, rain has limited the number of races this year. Kevin Nouse lead the points over Austin Hogue with three shows left. Fred Rahmer's point advantage over Greg Hodnett in the 410 sprint class is down to 175 points.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MOM: For the second year in a row, Jeff Strunk drove to a $25,000 pay day in winning the 43rd annual Freedom 76 358 modified feature at the Grandview Speedway. It was his fifth win in the event for the nine-time track champion and it came on his mom's 70th birthday.
