MIDDLEBURG -- The Millionaires scored early in the second half off a penalty kick to make it a 1-goal game, but Zane Leister scored six minutes later to put Midd-West ahead by two and the Mustangs held on for the HAC-I win on Saturday night.

"That's always nice (to clinch districts), but that's something we expect," Midd-West coach Chris Sauer said. "We wanted to get it earlier, but it's nice to get it out of the way."

Trevor Stuck and Devaughn Johns both scored in the first half while Tyler Arbogast ended the day with two assists.

Midd-West hosts Lewisburg on Monday.

n Selinsgrove 2, Mifflinburg 1

MIFFLINBURG -- The Seals scored twice in the final 19 minutes of the game to come back and beat the Wildcats for the HAC-I victory.

Manny Little and Kyle Davies scored the goals for Selinsgrove (7-7, 5-5 HAC-I), with Gavin Keller assisting on Davies' goal.

Mifflinburg (5-9 overall) got its goal from Austin Englehart off an assist by Dustin Keister 10 minutes into the second half.


n Danville 4, Hazleton 0

DANVILLE -- The Ironmen spread the ball around against the Cougars as four different players scored goals in the nonleague victory.

Brittany Walters and Sara Naessig scored first-half goals for Danville (6-6-1), before Allie Mettler and Jamie Sidler tallied second-half goals for the Ironmen.

Mettler, Sidler and Shelby Freedman had assists for Danville.

n Warrior Run 2, Loyalsock 0

WILLIAMSPORT -- Two goals by Chloe Eisenhuth lifted the Defenders to the HAC-II victory.

Madi Welliver then completed the shutout for Warrior Run (10-4 overall) by only needing to make two saves.

Lourdes Regional 1

COAL TOWNSHIP -- Madison Burrows had a hat trick and an assist, plus Katie Benfer added two goals and an assist in the Lions' nonleague win.

Emily Benfer chipped in a goal and a pair of assists for Meadowbrook (14-0-1).


n Shikellamy 3, Benton 2

BENTON -- Shikellamy forged a three-goal lead with 16 minutes to play, then held off Benton for the nonleague win. Morgan Foust, Jade Coxe and Annie Herbster scored for the Braves.

n Greenwood 1, State College 0

MILLERSTOWN -- An unassisted goal by Kelsey Keener 9:41 into the game was all that the Wildcats needed to take the nonleague win. Nikki Willi made six saves to get the shutout for Greenwood (10-4).

n Line Mountain 2, Newport 0

MANDATA -- Breanna Boyer and Madison Lagerman scored goals for Line Mountain in the Tri-Valley League win.

The Eagles dominated in shots (12) and corners (16). Katelyn Campbell made two saves for the shutout.
