Midd-West (1-4, 0-4 HAC-I) scored two runs in the seventh, but only managed to bring the game to within two runs. The Mustangs tied the game at 2-all in the bottom of the second and then made it a 5-4 game in the bottom of the fifth when Sara Shambach hit a solo home run. Shambach ended the day going 2-for-4.

Shamokin (4-0, 3-0) was led by Helana Supsic and Olivia Bonshock, who each went 2-for-4 in the win.

MILTON -- Taylor Batman improved to 3-0 on the year after she tossed a two-hitter to lead the Black Panthers to the HAC-I victory.

It marks Batman's third shutout in as many games.

Mack Miller provided a good portion of the offense for her battery mate by hitting a solo home run in the first inning and scoring three runs for Milton (3-0, 3-0 HAC-I).

Shikellamy falls to 1-3, 1-3.

CATAWISSA -- A five-RBI day by Taylor Hoffman propelled the Tigers to the HAC-II win.

Hoffman went 2-for-3 with a double and a three-run home run in the third inning for Southern (2-0, 2-0 HAC-II).

Abbey Herr recorded a no-hitter in the win for the Tigers.

MILLERSTOWN -- Joelle Snyder and Bre Boyer had three hits apiece in the Eagles' Tri-Valley League win over the Wildcats.

Maddy Pyle batted 4-for-5 to lead Greenwood (0-2, 0-2 TVL), which had a total of four girls get at least two hits in the game.

HEGINS -- The Bulldogs amassed 14 hits during the Schuylkill League rout of the Red Raiders. Tri-Valley's most productive inning was the first, when the Bulldogs pushed seven runs across the plate.
