Midd-West (1-4, 0-4 HAC-I) scored two runs in the seventh, but only managed to bring the game to within two runs. The Mustangs tied the game at 2-all in the bottom of the second and then made it a 5-4 game in the bottom of the fifth when Sara Shambach hit a solo home run. Shambach ended the day going 2-for-4.
Shamokin (4-0, 3-0) was led by Helana Supsic and Olivia Bonshock, who each went 2-for-4 in the win.
