Conrad's 3s help Dragons move on

Rob Varano led Mount Carmel in scoring with 10.

Lewisburg stretched its lead to 22 when Allen got the roll on jumper in the paint as Lewisburg opened the quarter on an 8-2 run.

Conrad, who was 10-for-13 from the free-throw line, knew the offense had to get going if the Green Dragons were going to continue their season.

"We've been a little stagnant on offense recently and we really worked to get the extra pass going," he said. "We didn't want to go home. We knew if we didn't win, we wouldn't have practice tomorrow."

Lewisburg made four of its six 3-point field goals in the first half. They finished 14-of-23 from the line as Kline scored 16 while Mike Driscoll netted 14.
