High School Roundup: Mifflinburg falls in boys lascrosse

MIFFLINBURG — LACROSSE

Sam Wright led Mifflinburg with a hat trick, but the Wildcats lost to Crestwood 13-7 in nonleague play Friday.

Alex Roy scored two goals for the Wildcats (1-4) and Tyler Stoltzfus had a goal and two assists.

BOYS TENNIS

Montoursville 3, Milton 2

MILTON — Montoursville won a three-set match at No. 2 singles and both doubles matches to beat Milton, 3-2, in a HAC crossover match Friday.

Aladean Elsayed won his match at No. 1 singles, 6-2, 6-2, for Milton (2-11). Chase Geiger added a 6-1, 6-2 win at No. 3 singles for the Black Panthers.

Trevor Williams won a 7-5 third set to take the match at No. 2 singles for Montoursville, while Nate Ripley and Casey Haas partnered at first doubles and the Warriors won the second doubles match by forfeit.
