DANVILLE -- Bailey Carl scored a goal to send the game into overtime, and she then assisted on Miranda Long's game-winner in the extra period as the Tigers prevailed in the nonleague matchup.

Rachel Billig scored unassisted for Danville in the first half.

HERSHEY -- Despite 15 saves from Nikki Willi, the Wildcats fell to the Trojans in a nonleague game. Greenwood moves to 8-4 on the season.

GIRLS TENNIS

DANVILLE -- The Seals became the first area tennis team to reach the postseason as they beat the Ironmen in the HAC-I match.

Liza Smith won at No. 2 singles for Selinsgrove (8-7, 8-5 HAC-I), along with both doubles teams, including a 2-6, 6-3, 6-2 win at No. 1 by Jess Kerstetter and Olivia Fravel.

"Qualifying for districts was our goal. The girls are glad, I'm glad, and we worked hard to get there," said Selinsgrove coach Duke Fravel.

MILTON -- With a dominating shutout victory over the Braves, the Black Panthers are now two wins away from qualifying for the district playoffs.

Keying the win for Milton (7-9, 4-8 HAC-I) was a 6-7 (1-7), 6-1, 6-2 win by its No. 1 doubles team of Jenna Bowersox and Hunter Metzger.

The Black Panthers have to beat Jersey Shore on the road Wednesday and Central Columbia at home on Thursday to qualify for districts.

WILLIAMSPORT -- The Millionaires shut out the Green Dragons for the HAC-I win, but they needed to pull out a pair of three-set victories in doubles in order to do so.
