Todd Hummel's college football column: Penn State secondary was hurting without Keiser

(Continued)

The Black Bears have one of the most prolific offense in the Football Championship Division led by their quartback Wasilewski.

Maine (5-1) -- whose lone loss is to No. 19 Northwestern 35-21 -- is the No. 23-ranked team in FCS and the Black Bears rolled No. 24-ranked Delaware, 63-21, on Saturday.

The 63 points is the third most in school history and the most the Black Bears have scored since they put up 61 against Shaw in 2006.

Wasilewski threw for 263 yards and three touchdowns against the Blue Hens.

He's completed 67 percent of his passes for 1,535 yards and 12 touchdows with six interceptions this season. He has spread the ball around with four different Maine receivers having at least 20 catches. Wasilewski is also second on the team in rushing with 237 yards and two scores.

The Black Bears are 2-0 in the Colonial League.
