MANDATA — The Rams opened up an 11-point lead in the second quarter to take the tournament championship.

Sarah Lahr scored nine points and had four steals to lead Line Mountain (1-1).

n Selinsgrove 50,

Millville 26

MANDATA — Laura Long and Kiersten Craig-Sovic scored 16 points apiece as the Seals captured the consolation game victory.

Long and Craig-Sovic both added five rebounds in the winning effort, and for her part Long was placed onto the all-tournament team for Selinsgrove (1-1).

Marian Catholic 28

COAL TOWNSHIP — Rashal Schultz and Sarah Getchey scored 11 points apiece to lead the Red Raiders to their tournament championship.

n Shamokin 51,

COAL TOWNSHIP — A balanced scoring effort lifted the Indians to the win in the consolation game.

Kelsey Yacko tallied 12 points for Shamokin (1-1).

LEWISTOWN — The Black Panthers fell behind by large margins in the first and third quarters and fell in the consolation game.

Karissa Brown scored 11 points to earn a spot on the all-tournament team along with teammate Emily Baker.

BLOOMSBURG — Despite the efforts of Alyssa Wesner, the Warriors fell in the tourney’s consolation game. Wesner had 18 points and 13 rebounds for Northumberland Christian (3-3).

n Shikellamy 48,

Central Columbia 36

SUNBURY — Led by a good shooting day by Alexis Angstadt, the Braves opened the season with a solid nonleague win.

Angstadt scored 18 points and Kierra Smith added 13 for Shikellamy (1-0), which pulled away in the game with an 32-point second half.

n Danville 58, Benton 47

BENTON — Amber Renz and Erica Heath combined for 30 points as the Ironmen took their season-opening win over the Tigers. Renz led the way with 18 points for Danville (1-0).
