H.S. roundup: Shikellamy's Tyler powers team past Selinsgrove in OT


SELINSGROVE — Mifflinburg 77, Line Mountain 53

MANDATA — The Wildcats had just too much firepower for the Eagles as they ran away for the non-league victory.

Julia McArdle-Coe led Mifflinburg with a game-high 23 points, plus Sara Stauffer added 18 points and Kayla Kline chipped in 10 for Mifflinburg (13-5).

Colleen Troutman had 19 points and Joelle Snyder added 14 points and three assists for Line Mountain (7-8).

East Juniata 35, Midd-West 28

COCOLAMUS — The Tigers out-scored the Mustangs 14-5 in the final quarter to take the non-league victory. Midd-West’s Morgan Shirk led all scorers with 12 points.


Line Mountain 39, Troy 32

TROY — Gary Laudenslager’s decision at 138 pounds combined with Kenneth Boyer’s forfeit at 145 gave the Eagles the District 4 Class AA preliminary win.
