Lewisburg will send four swimmers to the PIAA boys and girls state swimming and diving championships, three of which are returning to the state meet.
The PIAA girls' and boys' swimming and diving championships start on Wednesday, March 13, at the campus of Bucknell University.
The list of qualifiers was announced on Sunday.
Lewisburg sophomore Caitlin Foley (200 IM, 100 backstroke), senior Maxwell (200 freestyle, 100 freestyle) and Adon Shapiro (200 freestyle, 500 freestyle) all return to the state meet while freshman Michael Sumfest (200 freestyle) will be competing for the first time.
Time qualifiers for Danville include senior Nikki Difilippo (100 breaststroke), freshman Joe Malafronte (200 freestyle), senior Zach Smith (50 freestyle) and the Ironmen's 200 freestyle relay team which is made up of Andrew Smith, Chris Malafronte, Joe Malafronte and Smith.
This marks the Danville swimmers first state meet as well.
Other District 4 qualifiers include Mifflinburg junior Adrianna Grabaski who was the District 4 champion in the 100 and 200 freestyle events and Shamokin senior Ciana Rollman. Rollman was the only girls qualifier for the diving championships.
