SELINSGROVE -- It wasn't too long ago that the Selinsgrove lacrosse program was trying to keep up with the joneses located 10 miles due north in Lewisburg.
Now, the Green Dragons need to keep up with the Seals.
Zach Adams scored off an assist from Ben Youngman just 40 seconds into overtime to give Selinsgrove a 7-6 victory over Lewisburg in a Central Susquehanna Lacrosse League matchup on Thursday.
It was the first time that any lacrosse team from Selinsgrove has beaten a team from Lewisburg.
Adams and Youngman both finished with three points apiece for Selinsgrove (5-0). Marcus Winn, Andrew Sickle also had goals for the Seals.
Matt Fedorjaka paced Lewisburg (4-3) with three goals.

LEWISBURG -- A four-goal day from Hannah Gotoff helped the Green Dragons outscore the Wildcats 7-1 in the second half and take the CSLL win. Lewisburg improves to 5-3, 4-0 in league play; while Mifflinburg is 2-3 overall.

SUNBURY -- Jordan Garringer, Nick Dunn and John Stetler all had key base hits for the Braves in a four-run fifth that resulted in a HAC-I win over Williamsport.
Dunn had an RBI double in the fifth, while both Garringer and Stetler both had RBI singles for Shikellamy (3-5, 3-4 HAC-I). Garringer finished the game 2-for-2 to lead the team.
Barring rain, Shikellamy hosts Midd-West today in an effort to inch back to the .500 mark.

MANDATA -- The Tigers began and ended their Tri-Valley League victory over the Eagles with home runs.
Nick Lorenz hit a three-run homer in the second inning, followed by a solo shot from Jesse Watts in the fifth.
Line Mountain (3-3 overall and TVL) had the same amount of hits as EJ, but the Eagles committed three errors and they struck out 13 times in the game.
