On the girls' side, Selinsgrove took the AAA title with Mount Carmel winning in AA.
Southern Columbia's Luke Rarig continued his outstanding season as the returning state medalist won both hurdles races and was second in the long jump. The junior ran the 110 high hurdles in 14.78 seconds and the 300 intermediates in 40.45. He did 21 feet, 2½ inches in the long jump.
For the girls, Selinsgrove's Alexis Auman won both the long and triple jumps (16-1½ and 33-11½, respectively). Also winning for the Seals were Ashley Blair, in the 3,200 (12:20.56), and Courtney McCartney, shot put (46-6).
Shamokin and Selinsgrove each won a relay. The Indians took the 400 in 52.03 with a team of McKenzie Koharski, Gabby Lahr, Sofia Pearson and Danielle Reed. The Braves won the 1,600 in 4:12.27 with a unit of Elise Brubaker, Lexi Colescott, Yoangelys Cedeno and Kurstyn Pfleegor.
