MIFFLINBURG -- Pitcher Andrew Leitzel allowed just one run and Dillan Weikel drove in three runs to lead Miffllinburg to a 5-1 Heartland-I victory over Selinsgrove on Friday.
"He pitched really well," said Wildcats coach Tom Church. "He got in some situations and he got himself out."
Selinsgrove scored its lone run in the top of the first, but Mifflinburg (5-9) answered with two runs in the bottom half of the inning before tacking on three runs in the bottom of the fifth.
Weikel batted 2-for-2, while Brady Lloyd went 3-for-4 for Mifflinburg.
Colton Brouse had two hits for Selinsgrove.
n Midd-West 10,
MONTOURSVILLE -- Powered by three-RBI days from Shane Connahan and Luke Zimmerman, the Mustangs held off the Warriors for the HAC-I win.
Connahan hit a solo home run in the second inning before hitting a two-run double in the third. Zimmerman added an RBI double in the third for Midd-West (11-2, 6-2 HAC-I).
Connahan and Zimmerman, in addition to Aaron Sharp, Eli Stem and Matt Aurand, all had two hits apiece for the Mustangs.

JERSEY SHORE -- Three hits apiece from Colton Potter and Cody Bradley paved the way for the Bulldogs to score all nine of their runs in the first and third innings in the HAC-I win over the Black Panthers.
Jeff Levitan batted 2-for-3, while Brady Chappell hit an RBI single and Gage Heller had a double and scored a run for Milton (5-6 overall).
n Lewisburg 9,
LEWISBURG -- The Green Dragons erased an early deficit, scoring all nine of their runs in a three-inning span to take the HAC-II win.
The Green Dragons (4-10) scored three in the third inning to take the lead before scoring four runs in the fourth and two in the fifth.
Drew Newcomb finished 2-for-3 with a triple and two RBIs for Lewisburg and Jacob Girton added a pair of hits and an RBI.
Brady Haupt drove in two runs for Shamokin.
n East Juniata 11,
Greenwood 0 (5 inn.)
COCOLAMUS -- Nick Lorenz hit a two-run home run in the third inning to complete East Juniata's scoring and lead the Tigers to the Tri-Valley League win.
While East Juniata was accumulating 11 hits to get the win, Greenwood (0-13 overall) was held to just two by Tigers pitchers Mason Hambright and Bailey Coder.

TURBOTVILLE -- A seven-run fifth inning gave the Spartans more than enough runs to take the HAC-II victory.
Lynn Vermilya, Carra Rishel and Lisa Waldman all doubled for Warrior Run.

COCOLAMUS -- Amy Heggenstaller threw a one-hitter with 10 strikeouts and no walks, plus she also had three hits in the Wildcats' Tri-Valley League win.
Heggenstaller went 3-for-5 at the plate with two doubles and five RBIs for Greenwood (3-9, 2-9 TVL).

COAL TOWNSHIP -- A no-hitter thrown by Carley Nash was overshadowed by the Indians' potent offense, which scored 15 runs off 13 hits in the HAC-I matchup. Jenny Hornberger led the way with a 3-for-3 day that included two doubles, two RBIs and four runs scored.

DANVILLE -- Emily Vella scored five goals and had three assists to lead the Ironmen to a Central Susquehanna Girls Lacrosse League rout of the Seals on senior night.
Martina Plafcan added four goals, while Lindsey Strausser and Liz Pavis added five points apiece in the win for Danville (9-0). Pavis is one of three seniors on the team, along with Sarah Weber and Colleen McCollum.
Selinsgrove got two goals apiece from Jenna Clark, Megan Keeney and Megan Kahn.
