Youngman scored his fourth goal of the game less than two minutes after Danville cut the lead to five. Selinsgrove went on to score the final six goals of the game.
Ironmen senior Nick Treon scored first for Danville off a Seals defensive turnover. He tallied four goals to lead the Ironmen, who had been averaging more than 12 goals per game. Single Danville goals were scored by Tyler Blue, Wesley Yeich, and Vanden Huevel.
"This is not a tail-between-the-legs game for us; this is a motivator for us," Gerdy added. "We've played two very physical back-to-back games. There were a lot of things we didn't put together in our game (Tuesday)."
Danville allowed 30 goals in its last two games, and in each of its four losses it surrendered 11 or more goals.
