NORTHUMBERLAND -- Lewisburg needed three runs in the sixth inning but was held to two, losing a back-and-forth District 13 Area II championship game to Selinsgrove, 8-7.

A four-run Selinsgrove third evaporated a 3-1 deficit before Lewisburg tied the game in the fifth.
Brandon Hile came into the game in the third inning for Selinsgrove and finished out the game, hanging on for the victory.
Izzy Showers led Selinsgrove with two hits and three RBIs and Ryan Aument and Vance Metzger each drove home two for Selinsgrove.
Kaiden Wagner, Owen Arndt and Max Moyers each belted two hits for Lewisburg.
Selinsgrove will attempt to keep its success going into the sectional tournament, which begins next Monday.
