Lewisburg's Andrew Ramirez threw four innings, recording 11 strikeouts in the process while giving up just three hits. McGaw threw 80 pitches through six innings of work, recording nine strikeouts and allowed three hits.
"Both pitchers were really throwing well tonight," Persing said.
Lewisburg took a 1-0 lead in the top of the fourth inning until Danville tied it up in the bottom of the fifth.
Ramirez was Lewisburg's only multiple hitter, going 2-for-4, while Ben Liscomb and Dakota Snyder each had a double.
Alex Robenolt, Kozick and Cody Kizis each went 2-for-4 for Danville, with Shane Kozick and Kizis hitting doubles.
