H.S. softball: Timely hits help Williamsport top Mifflinburg


"They don't look at adversity, they just look at it as, We have to play 7 innings, let's play them all!' That's the way they've all looked at it and that's what they've been doing," Ross said. "I'm not going to make excuses. (Bower) is probably the best pitcher in our area and she's dominant and we just didn't hit her."

Williamsport tied it up in the second thanks to a four-hit inning when Kalia Moore hit a 2-RBI triple into right, followed immediately by an RBI-single into shallow left by Caringi.
