MILTON -- With back-to-back wins, Milton is now back in the playoff hunt.
The Black Panthers broke a tied ballgame with two runs in the top of the sixth inning to take a 4-2 nonleague win over the Lewisburg Green Dragons on Saturday.
Senior Ryan Solomon keyed the victory for Milton (6-7), which needs at least a .500 record to qualify for the District 4 playoffs.
Solomon, a two-time state champion wrestler, went 3-for-3 with a double and three RBIs. Jordon Bordner added an RBI double for the Black Panthers.
Chad Diggan got the complete-game victory for Milton. He struck out six and gave up no earned runs.
The Black Panthers have five games remaining this year, beginning with a home contest with Jersey Shore on Monday.

WILLIAMSPORT -- Following its close one-run win over Lower Dauphin on Friday, the Black Panthers split their two games on Saturday that were played at Elm Park.
On Saturday, Milton (12-3) bounced back from a 5-0 loss to Philadelphia's Saint Hubert's by thrashing Montoursville.
Against the Warriors, Bethany Brennan, Meghan Davis and Kiah Brink each went 3-for-4 in the game, with Brink falling a single short of hitting for the cycle while also driving in five runs. She hit a two-run home run in the sixth inning.
Against Lower Dauphin on Friday, Milton scored twice in the sixth to win it. Dani Lincoln hit an RBI single and Mary Adams later singled and scored the go-ahead run for the Black Panthers.

HARRISBURG -- Lisa Steinhubl, Jessica Penn and Hannah Gotoff scored three goals apiece, but it wasn't enough as the Green Dragons fell in the nonleague matchup. Lewisburg falls to 9-4.
