n Selinsgrove 2,
MIFFLINBURG -- The Seals scored both of their runs in the fifth inning on two Wildcats errors as Colton Brouse shut down the Wildcats' (8-7) hitters on the mound over seven scoreless innings for the Seals to grab the HAC-I victory.
Brouse only gave up two hits in the win while Selinsgrove's Andy Aurand allowed four.
Austin Benner recorded the Seals lone extra base hit, a double. Mifflinburg was led by Andrew Leitzel's double.
n Montoursville 9,
MIDDLEBURG -- Montoursville scored nine runs and needed every one of them as the Warriors held on for a victory over Midd-West. Cameron Ott crushed Midd-West (8-8) with two home runs and five RBIs. Curtis Miller added two hits for the Warriors.
For the Mustangs, Hunter Shuff drove in two runs and hit a home run, while Alex Lash collected two hits and an RBI.
n Jersey Shore 6, Milton 5
MILTON -- Jersey Shore scored three runs in the top of the seventh and stopped a late Milton rally to hold on for a win. Kaiden Brungard led the Bulldogs (13-2) with two hits and an RBI and Zach Miller legged out a triple for Jersey Shore.
Brady Chappell pounded out two hits for the Black Panthers (6-8). Chad Diggan scored three runs and hit a double for Milton.
n Shamokin 8,
LEWISBURG -- Shamokin broke out their bats when it mattered most with three runs in the top of the seventh to defeat Lewisburg. Austin Fry led the Indians with two hits and a double and Theo Deptula added a single and two runs scored.
For the Green Dragons, Michael Fisher pounded out two hits and Brandon Batman added a triple.
n Southern Columbia 4,
MUNCY -- After an early offensive explosion turned into a pitcher's duel, Southern Columbia pushed a run across in the top of the seventh to beat Muncy.
Tyler Behrent clobbered a pitch over the fence for one of his two hits. Garrett Sosnoski and Mason Peters each had two hits for the Tigers (10-5-1).
n Upper Dauphin 11,
ELIZABETHVILLE -- Upper Dauphin grabbed a victory over Greenwood, benefitting from eight Wildcats errors.
Mac Nye paced the Trojans (12-4) offensively, going 3-for-4, falling a home run short of the cycle and knocking in a run.
Casey Wise added two hits and two RBIs for the Trojans.
n Shikellamy 8, Benton 2
SUNBURY -- The Braves jumped out to an early lead and did not look back with a victory.
Courtney Lahr led the Braves offensively with two hits including a double and 3 RBIs. Kelsey Zimmerman drove in two runs for Shikellamy and Cierra Barnhart had three hits and an RBI.
n Fannett-Metal 14,
WILLOW HILL -- Fannett-Metal broke out for eight first-inning runs and cruised to a 14-1 win over Greenwood.
The Wildcats fall to 3-9 overall with the loss.
n Selinsgrove 18, Dallas 7
DALLAS -- The Seals scored often on the road to take a win and improve to 4-5 on the season.
Sara Moyer led the Seals with eight goals and two assists and Allie Bond added six goals and two assists.
Brooke McEvoy started the game in net and stopped five shots before Kylee John finished the game in goal with three saves.
n State College 21,
STATE COLLEGE -- Although Lewisburg was near Happy Valley, the road trip to State College was not joyful as the Green Dragons fell to State College.
Jessica Penn accounted for three of the four Green Dragons goals.
n Selinsgrove 14,
BELLEFONTE -- Selinsgrove nearly shut out Bellefonte on the road, winning behind four players with hat tricks.
Andrew Sickle led the Seals (12-0) with three goals and two assists.
Sickle was joined by Zach Adams, Ben Youngman and Matt Cope with three goals for the Seals.
