LOCK HAVEN -- There would be no comeback this time around for the Milton Major Division All-Stars in the Section 3 Tournament.
Clinton shut down Milton's offense for the second time in three days to take an 11-2 victory Friday and claim the section title at the Lock Haven Little League Complex.
The game was close until District 15 champ Clinton scored three runs in the third inning, plus four more in the fourth to take a commanding 9-1 lead.
Pitcher Caitlyn Brush got the complete-game win for Clinton, and she also had two hits including a triple and two RBIs. MaKenzie Peters led Clinton by going 3-for-3 with two doubles and four RBIs.
Jillian East went the distance in the loss and Alyse Goodwin doubled in the game for Milton.

LEWISBURG -- Dakotah Snyder led Lewisburg with his arm and his bat as the hosts held on to claim the Area II championship at Danny Green Field.
Snyder pitched a complete game and he shut Mifflinburg down after it scored both of its runs in the second inning.
At the plate, Snyder went 2-for-3 and drove in two of Lewisburg's three runs. Batterymate Brock Noone added a 2-for-3 day that included two runs scored.
Lewisburg next plays Danville, which claimed the Area I title with a 10-6 win over South Columbia, for the District 13 title. The first game is Sunday at 3 p.m. at Danny Green Field.

BERWICK -- Danville out-slugged South Columbia, hitting four home runs to just two for its opponent, to take the Area I title at Ber-Vaughn Park.
Jared Mowery began the hit parade for Danville with a two-run homer in the second. The shot helped Danville take a 5-4 lead after South Columbia scored four in the top of the inning.
South Columbia retook the lead with two runs in the fourth on a home run by Julian Fleming, but Danville came back again in the bottom of the inning with a two-run homer by Shane Kozick and a solo shot by Preston Fausnaught.

NORTHUMBERLAND -- Five days after suffering a two-run loss to Shikellamy-Acorn, Lewisburg bounced back and pulled out a close victory in the elimination bracket final at Acorn Park.
Owen Arndt pitched 5 1/3 innings to get the victory for Lewisburg. Kaiden Wagner then threw 2/3 of an inning to get the save.
Lewisburg scored twice in the sixth, and it was just enough to pull out the victory after Shik-Acorn tallied a run in the bottom of the inning to make it closer.

South Columbia (2) 11
BLOOMSBURG -- A two-run double by Ian Persing highlighted the five runs Danville scored in the sixth inning to beat Bloomsburg in the Area I elimination bracket final at Bloomsburg Town Park.
C.J. Outt added an RBI double in the sixth, while Daniel Knight, Luke Ciccarelli and Kyle Kizis all helped move the inning along by hitting singles.
Danville will now face South Columbia No. 1 for the area title Sunday at 3.

DANVILLE -- Mason Fausnaught went the distance, and Shayne Riley backed him with three of Danville's nine hits.
Riley went 3-for-3 with a double and three runs.
Danville (10-4) hosts Shamokin/Mount Carmel at 11 a.m. today.

MANDATA -- T.J. Harris threw six scoreless innings, and Kellen Masser finished Line Mountain's three-hit shutout.
Matt Howerter scored the lone run on an Erik Smeltz sacrifice fly in the fourth.
Line Mountain (5-9) hosts Bloomsburg today.

MIFFLINBURG -- Back-to-back two-run doubles by Cody Shaffer and Tylor Moyer led to a five-run third inning as Milton ended the regular season by doubling up Mifflinburg. Milton (12-6) put the game away with a four-run seventh that was keyed by Damian Moyer's two-out, two-run double.

LEWISBURG -- Joey Gardner's two-run double in the third inning put Lewisburg ahead, and the team tacked on three more runs over the following three innings.
