Mark Mullery worked a walk to open the second inning and Jalen Bickhart sacrificed him to second. After an out, No. 9 hitter Tyler Fisher gave Danville a 2-0 lead with an RBI single.

After wasting a Colton Brouse leadoff double in the top of the second, Selinsgrove got on the board in the third to cut the Danville lead to 2-1. Colby Crissinger doubled and Austin Benner sacrificed him to second. After an out, Isaiah Rapp singled him home.

Danville got untracked offensively, starting in the bottom of the third inning with nine runs over its final four at bats to end the game via the mercy rule. Shayne Riley doubled and scored in the third on Heeter's double. After Heeter moved to third on a wild pitch, Keefer made it 4-1 with his second sacrifice fly of the game.

Danville added three more in the fifth on Heeter's RBI double and a Keefer RBI single. The third run scored on a throw error. Danville ended the game with four runs in the sixth inning. Shayne Riley had an RBI single, while Heeter added an RBI groundout. Cromley ended the game with a two-run single.
