HALIFAX -- A 3-for-3 night by Koby Bowman powered the Wildcats to the nonleague win. Joe Raker added a 2-for-4 for Halifax, which had 11 hits in the game.

SELINSGROVE -- Brody Beiler's switch from baseball to track is starting to pay off as the sophomore won three individual events to lead the Seals to the HAC-I win.
Beiler won the 800 (2:06.57), 1,600 (4:46.88) and the 3,200 (10:24.89) for Selinsgrove (2-0).
Shikellamy (3-1) got three solo wins from Ryan Wary (100, 200, long jump) and Garrett Kemberling (TJ, HJ, javelin).
n Warrior Run 122,
TURBOTVILLE -- Jared McHenry set school and stadium records with a 14-foot, 3-inch leap in the pole vault as the Defenders cruised to the HAC-II win. Warrior Run is 1-0.
n Selinsgrove 91.66,
SELINSGROVE -- Powered by Courtney McCartney's performances in the shot put and discus, the Seals out-ran and out-threw the Braves for the HAC-I victory.
McCartney won the shot with a heave of 45 feet even, and the discus with a throw of 123-10. Mackenzie Apple added wins in both hurdles races and Natalia Brown won the 100 and 200 for Selinsgrove (2-0).
Kurstyn Pfleegor took the 400 and the long jump for Shikellamy (3-1).
n Warrior Run 105,
TURBOTVILLE -- Steph Shamburg won all three throwing events to lead the Defenders to the HAC-II win. Shamburg's best effort came in the javelin with a winning throw of 117 feet, 11 inches for Warrior Run (1-0).
