MILTON — The Ironmen broke a 7-all tie in the top of the seventh to pull out the HAC-I victory.
Dan Seebold went 3-for-4 and drove in three runs for Danville (2-1, 2-1 HAC-I).
Milton (1-1, 1-1) got a 3-for-5 effort from Corey Kriner.
East Juniata 11, Juniata 5
COCOLAMUS — Jeremy Pannebaker got the win in relief of starter Bailey Coder, plus he was 2-for-3 and scored three times in the Tigers’ Tri-Valley League win. East Juniata improved to 1-1 overall and in the league.
Warrior Run 7, Lewisburg 5
TURBOTVILLE — Connor Pelletier and Derek Keiser both went 2-for-3 and hit solo home runs to lead the Defenders to the HAC-II victory.
Pelletier hit his homer in the first inning, while Keiser hit his in the fifth for Warrior Run (1-1, 1-1 HAC-II).
Lewisburg (0-3) got two hits from both Sam Rosevear and Luke Smith.
Southern Columbia 2, Montgomery 1
MONTGOMERY — John Wilson and Blake Marks combined to toss a three-hitter in the Tigers’ season-opening HAC-III win. Wilson worked the first five innings and had eight strikeouts and one walk, while Marks and Zach Tillett had the two RBIs for Southern.
Lewisburg 5, Muncy 0
LEWISBURG — In what could be a first for area boys tennis, the Green Dragons didn’t give up a single game in defeating the Indians for the HAC-II win.
With Glen Gallik, Tim Sprunt and Tyler Spinello back in the singles rotation, Lewisburg (6-0) won each match by a 6-0, 6-0 score.
Selinsgrove 5, Danville 0
SELINSGROVE — The Seals continued to cruise after they gave up a total of three games in three singles matches to take the HAC-I win.
Rob Smith and Brady Fries won 6-1, 6-0 at Nos. 1 and 2 singles, while Theron Fravel picked up a 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 3 for Selinsgrove (6-0).
Danville falls to 2-4.
Milton 3, Shikellamy 2
SUNBURY — DJ Clark won again at No. 2 singles and so did the No. 2 doubles team for the Braves, but it wasn’t enough to beat the Black Panther.
