H.S. roundup: Selinsgrove baseball gets much needed win over Midd-West


Mifflinburg is also win away from punching its ticket into the playoffs. The Wildcats are 9-6, 5-6.

LEWISBURG -- Mikey Fisher went 2-for-3 and drove in two of the Green Dragons' four runs, leading them to the HAC-II win.

Joey Gardner added an RBI single for Lewisburg (4-11).

Lloyd Minium had an RBI single and Hunter Raup had an RBI double for Warrior Run (3-9).

Millersburg 7

MILLERSBURG -- Just when the Indians had a win in their grasp, the Eagles snatched it away by scoring six runs in the seventh inning for the Tri-Valley League victory.

Millersburg (5-9 overall) scored four runs in the sixth to take a 7-2 lead.

J.P. Lenker and Austin Snyder contributed to the comeback by each driving in two runs for Line Mountain (8-7, 7-5 TVL). Snyder's had a double and triple.

Snyder also pitched the first 5.1 innings before giving way to Zach Bobb, who got the win for the Eagles. Bobb faced six batters and struck out two and gave up two hits.

Southern Columbia 3

MONTGOMERY -- The Red Raiders scored twice in the sixth inning to break a 3-all tie and take the HAC-III win. Garett Sosnoski, Tyler Behrent and Doug Michaels all had RBI singles for Southern (8-5-1, 5-4 HAC-III).

Shamokin 0 (5 inn.)

HUGHESVILLE -- The Indians were held to just two hits as they fell in the HAC-II matchup. Theo Deptula and Julian Deitrick had the base hits for Shamokin versus Hughesville pitcher Justin Lambert, who struck out nine and walked two.

Lourdes Regional 5

MOUNT CARMEL -- After keeping their opponents' offense in check through the first three innings, the Red Raiders couldn't keep that effort going the rest of the game as the Bulldogs pulled away for the Schuylkill League win.

Peyton Klembara and Caity Funk both had a pair of hits and an RBI for Lourdes (12-5). One of Funk's hits was a triple.


n Milton 5,

MILTON -- The Black Panthers won every match in straight sets to end their regular season on a high note. Milton finishes at 10-8, 8-6 in the HAC-I.
