SUNBURY -- It's almost time for pro football's elite to duke it out for the Vince Lombardi Trophy.

The Super Bowl is two weeks away and the participants will be determined in today's AFC and NFC championship games.

According to many of the Valley's high school football coaches, New England and San Francisco fans should be prepping to watch their teams compete for the world championship.

Here's what they predicted will happen today when the San Francisco 49ers travel to play the Atlanta Falcons and the Baltimore Ravens visit the New England Patriots:

n Jim Keiser, Danville

AFC title game: Baltimore 24, New England 21

"I think they're going to play more inspired because of Ray Lewis retiring. They've always given Tom Brady and the Patriots (a hard time)."

NFC title game: San Francisco 35, Atlanta 31

"I think San Francisco's defense is better."

Personal favorite team: Kansas City Chiefs

"I'd like the see them get to .500 next season. With Andy Reid going to them, I'm excited."

n George Goodwin, Milton

AFC title game: New England 31, Baltimore 28

"The Ravens are playing real well right now, but I think that the Patriots will come out on top. They have Tom Brady and Bill Belichick in their contingent."

NFC title game: San Francisco 28, Atlanta 10

"With the emergence of (Colin) Kaepernick at quarterback, I think it will be tough for the Falcons to prepare for (what San Francisco's) going to have."

Personal favorite team: Pittsburgh Steelers

"I think they're getting old. I think they need to look at some other options as far as the NFL draft goes."

n Mark Burrows, Warrior Run

AFC title game: New England 38, Baltimore 23

"Basically, I think because of New England's offense (they'll win). I don't think Ravens can score with the Patriots."

NFC title game: San Francisco 31, Atlanta 17

"(San Francisco's) offense is really clicking right now."

Personal favorite team: Philadelphia Eagles

"You've got to have the players (to win). If (Chip Kelly) tries to install the same offense it won't go well."

n David Hess, Selinsgrove

AFC title game: New England 35, Baltimore 21

"They're just playing on a higher level right now."

NFC title game: Atlanta 42, San Francisco 35

"(Atlanta's) quarterback has been more consistent."

Personal favorite team: Philadelphia Eagles

"I love what (Chip Kelly) did at Oregon. I think he's a very creative guy and he can take a group of people and find a way to make then winners. I'm hopeful."

n Jeremy Winn, Lewisburg

AFC title game: Baltimore 38, New England 35

"I think New England's offense is pretty tough with Tom Brady, but Baltimore beat them once and I think they can do it again."

NFC title game: San Francisco 28, Atlanta 17

"I think (San Francisco) has too much offense for the Falcons."

Personal favorite team: Baltimore Ravens

"I'm not a huge NFL fan, but I like Ray Lewis and I've followed him since he was at the University of Miami. And my son likes Ray Rice, so we've been following Baltimore for the past couple of years."
