H.S. roundup: Seal's McCartney takes third at Penn Relays


PHILADELPHIA — Bloomsburg 4, Milton 1

BLOOMSBURG — Alandean Elsayed beat Dylan Everhart, 6-3, 6-4, at No. 1 singles to give the Black Panthers their only win in the HAC-I match. Milton falls to 2-13.


Selinsgrove 14, Mifflinburg 9

SELINSGROVE — Jenna Clark and Addie Foor scored three goals apiece to lead Selinsgrove to a comeback victory over the Wildcats in Central Susquehanna Girls Lacrosse League action.

Down by three at the break, Clark and Foor scored all six of their goals in the second half as Selinsgrove (7-2) outscored Mifflinburg (5-6) 10-2 to get the victory.

Brooke McEvoy also made 15 saves in the Seals’ win, including several big stops in the second half.

“We had a real nice comeback after Mifflinburg jumped out to a 4-0 lead,” said Selinsgrove coach Ray Moyer. “Mifflinburg had a strong first half, but we had a stronger second half.”

Alexis Erb paced the Wildcats with five goals.


Lewisburg 10, Selinsgrove 5

SELINSGROVE — Nathan Fox had three goals and three assists on the day to lead the Green Dragons to the CSLL win.

Matt Fedorjaka added three goals and an assist for Lewisburg (9-0).

Zach Adams and Brandon Sheaffer scored two goals apiece to lead Selinsgrove.
