MILTON -- Anthony Velasquez was in the right place at the right time, and his only shot of the game turned out to be the only goal Shikellamy would need against Milton.
Velasquez connected on a corner kick just 9 minutes, 50 seconds into the game as the Braves held on for a 1-0 victory over the Black Panthers in Thursday's Heartland-I matchup.
"It was a well-played game that went back-and-forth and we got the lucky bounce tonight," said Shikellamy coach Jonathan Steese.
Justin Engle made four saves to preserve the shutout for Shikellamy (2-0, 1-0 HAC-I).

DANVILLE -- The Ironmen opened their season on a positive note by holding onto the HAC-I win over the Seals.
Gage Reber gave Danville (1-0 overall and HAC-I) an early lead by connecting off an assist by Brody Mahafy in the 12th minute.
Eric Dempsey scored the decisive goal for the Ironmen in the 60th minute off an assist by David Burke.
Matthew Longacre scored unassisted for Selinsgrove (1-2, 0-1) in the 76th minute.

LEWISBURG -- Bronson Ferster put together a four-point day that included a hat trick and an assist to lead the Green Dragons to the HAC-I rout.
Following an assist on a goal by Max Reed with 12:32 left in the first half, Ferster scored twice to give Lewisburg (3-0, 1-0 HAC-I) a 3-0 halftime lead.
Ferster's other goal came in the second half before Andre Permyashkin scored twice to put the game well out of reach of Williamsport (0-1, 0-1).

MIDDLEBURG -- Five different players scored for the Mustangs to lead them to the HAC-I victory.
Scoring for Midd-West (3-0, 1-0 HAC-I) in the first half were Tanner Ebright, Ty Ross, Evan Herbster and Tyler Arbogast. Sebastian Callender tallied a second-half goal for the Mustangs.
