College Notebook: Locals starring for Bloomsburg women's soccer


Mackenzie Stover is a junior for the Golden Eagles (3-4-3) and is tied for the team lead in scoring with two goals and an assist. Sarah Haluck is a freshman defender.


Freshman Taylor Landis is a member of the Lock Haven University soccer team. Landis, a Warrior Run graduate, has appeared in one game for the Bald Eagles (3-5-1).


Selinsgrove graduate Brianna Brancato is a sophomore defender for the Shippensburg University soccer team. Brancato has one goal and has started eight of nine games for the Red Raiders (6-3).

Brancato transferred to Shippensburg from St. Francis (Pa.), where she played in 12 games, including a game-winning goal against Buffalo.


Katie Oliveri, a Mifflinburg graduate, is a senior defender for the Kutztown University women's soccer team. Oliveri has started 39 consecutive games for the Golden Bears and scored her second career goal against Bloomsburg on Oct. 2.
