COAL TOWNSHIP — Nikki Komara posted a double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds as the Red Raiders cruised.
Rachel Schultz added 21 points and seven rebounds, while Bailey Trell had 18 points, eight assists, six rebounds and five steals for Lourdes (11-2).
Mount Carmel 73, Sunbury Christian 31
NORTHUMBERLAND — After a solid start, the Eagles couldn’t keep up with the Red Tornadoes and they fell in the nonleague matchup.
Ben Scicchitano led Mount Carmel with 13 points and Zac Tocyloski added 12 points.
Karch Carey had eight points and seven rebounds for Sunbury Christian (6-8).
Midd-West 58, Col. Montour Vo-Tech 48
MIDDLEBURG — The Mustangs got a much-needed spark from Ascher Marks to beat the Rams in a nonleague game.
Marks connected on all six of his shots in the first half to finish with 12 points for Midd-West (3-7). Colton Keister led the Mustangs with 14.
Hughesville 44, Mifflinburg 30
HUGHESVILLE — The Wildcats led 24-15 through eight bouts, but the Spartans pulled away behind a technical fall win by Dakota Nixon (145 pounds) and consecutive falls by Matt Herr (152), Kyle Barnes (160) and Robert White (170) to put it away for the HAC crossover win.
Mifflinburg (3-3) had pins from Patrick Wetzel (106) and Cole Walter. Hughesville (6-6) also had falls by Jacoby Foresman (220) and Zach Fry (120).
Shikellamy sweeps Central
SUNBURY — Powered by a 600 series from all but one of their bowlers, the Braves beat the Blue Jays 3-1 at Strike Zone Lanes.
The top two series for Shikellamy (10-2) belonged to Noah Thomas (235-228-201—664) and Earl Malick (206-287-167—660).
For the girls, Shikellamy (9-3) got a 500 series from Beth Roush (195-173-221—589) and Becka Klock (179-179-212—570).
