SUNBURY — By Mikaela Zimmerman
Last week, the Shikellamy High School seniors took on the faculty for two games of flag football under the Shikellamy Stadium lights.
All four classes (freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior) faced off, and by bracket process, it was so that the seniors would play the Shik faculty. In the glow of a monstrous bonfire, and under shouts of a boisterous crowd, the two teams took to the field and gave it their all. To mostly everyone’s surprise, the teachers emerged victorious in both games, their star seeming to be Mr. McHale. Opposite them on the senior team, Logan Hall scored the majority of touchdowns, making the score close.
Both teams showed good sportsmanship in the end and it was a great way to kick off the homecoming weekend.
