ELIZABETHVILLE — Trey Campbell led the way for Upper Dauphin, rushing for 224 yards on 32 carries in the Trojans 28-6 win over Millersburg. Campbell opened the scoring with a 18-yard run in the first quarter, but Millersburg struck right back with a score of their own with a 4-yard touchdown run from Connor Keim. However, the Indians failed to tie it at seven when they could not convert the field goal.
That was the only score of the game for Millersburg, as they were outscored 21-0 the rest of the game. Cole Reed rumbled into the end zone later in the quarter to give the Trojans a 14-6 lead. In the second quarter, MacKenzie Ney rushed 11 yards for a touchdown to give the Trojans a 21-6 advantage. The Trojans added one more touchdown in the fourth quarter on a touchdown pass from Ney to Peyton Barge.
Millursburg’s leading rusher for the game was Christian Wingard, who rushed for 70 yards on 17 carries. The Indians used four different rushers in the game, but even that wasn’t enough to overcome the Trojans offense.
