The bad news for the Bucknell women's basketball team is that the Bison are 0-3 for the second time in three seasons following Thursday night's 77-62 loss to Penn State at Sojka Pavilion.
College men's soccer: Bucknell advances to NCAA second round
The 1-0 theme continued in the NCAA Tournament for the Bucknell men's soccer team, as freshman Brendan Burgdorf scored the game's only goal in the 70th minute and the Bison advanced to the second round for the second time in the last four years by defeating Princeton on Thursday night at rain-soaked Myslik Field at Roberts Stadium.

Playing its fourth game in six days to start the season, Bucknell had plenty left in the tank Wednesday night and came away with an emphatic 82-66 road win at Delaware.
