— Wetland hikes, trail clean-ups and bike rides are all on tap this weekend as part of the Earth Month activities being coordinated by the Merrill Linn Conservancy.
On Saturday at 10 a.m., several experts will lead a walk deep into the Montandon Wetlands. You can be guaranteed that the marshes and swamps will be teaming with fascinating flora and fauna. You can also be sure that it will be wet, so if you go along, wear your rubber boots.
Saturday afternoon from 1-4 p.m., there will be a group litter pick-up and general trail up-keep on the Buffalo Valley Rail Trail.
On Sunday afternoon, the Caring for Communities Bicentennial Bike Ride with distances of 15 miles and 30 miles, starts at 1 p.m. at the Dale’s Ridge Trail parking lot. For more details about these and all of the Earth Month events, please visit: www.linnconservancy.org.
