Oh, my. We have a lot of music in this area this weekend, including the 20th anniversary edition of the Billtown Blues Festival on Sunday starting at noon at the Lycoming County Fairgrounds in Hughesville. I have another obligation, so I won’t be there, but there is a great line-up of acts. Advance tickets are still on sale at Page after page, in Lewisburg, and Cumberland Truck Parts, in Milton, at $18. On Sunday, at the gate, tickets are $23.

Tonight, Van Wagner is on the patio at the Pine Barn Inn in Danville from 7-10 p.m. Phone 275-2071 for reservation. Also tonight, Ann Kerstetter and her band will be at Barrel 135, 135 W. Third St., Williamsport, from 7-10 p.m. Call 322-7131 for reservations.

Lots going on Friday night this week. Bachman, Trassati and Bachman are on the patio at the Wayside Inn, Route 61, Weigh Scales, from 6-9 p.m. Mark Tomeo will be at Brews n Bytes on Lower Mulberry Street in Danville with his jazz guitar from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Tom Whitom is on the terrace at Front Street Station in Northumberland from 7-10 p.m. There is a $1 cover.

The Folk Justice Band helps kick off Lewisburg’s Relay for Life on Friday night. They play from 7-9 p.m. and then again from 10-11, following the luminaria ceremony. They’ve got brand new T-shirts with the FJB logo on them for sale, and all proceeds will go to the Lewisburg Relay for Life.

***

Don’t forget the Love ’n Care Street Fair Concert on Saturday night at the Shikellamy Field House starting at 6 p.m. The show features the Burgess-Mitchell-Seal Trio, Jazzam, Drama Club and Beatlemania Live.

Also Saturday night, Bev Conrad will be at Penn’s Tavern on Route 147, south of Sunbury, with her fiddle from 6-9 p.m., and the wonderful Don Shapelle will be on the terrace at Front Street Station, Northumberland from 7-10 p.m.

***

Last, but no means least, Rich Ahearn will be at Ye Olde Meeting Place, Route 405 between Milton and Watsontown, on Tuesday evening (the 16th) from 6:30-9:30 p.m. His son, Nathan, will join him for a few numbers, too, which is always a treat.
