MOUNT GRETNA — To celebrate its 33rd year, Music at Gretna announces an August schedule packed with something for everyone, and certainly something happening nearly every day.

Events begin Aug. 1 and end on Aug. 31. Jazz of all sorts and kinds, chamber music, string quartets with special guests, big brass, comedy and one-of-a kind events will take the stage at the Mount Gretna Playhouse.

Performers include Jimmy Sturr, polka king; the New Black Eagles Jazz Band; the Wister String Quartet; the Capitol Steps; the Audubon String Quartet; Leon Redbone and the Four Freshman, among many others.

A special four-performance run of Moliere’s classic comedy, “Tartuffe, or The Hypocrite,” will round out the month. The play is directed by Elizabethtown College professor Michael Swanson.

Tickets and the complete schedule are available by visiting www.GretnaMusic.org. For additional information, call 717-361-1508.
