The Front Porch Country Band’s six-part harmonies are featured on its new “Christmas Once Upon a Time” album.Originally released as a single, the song “Christmas Once Upon a Time” inspired The Front Porch Country Band to create an album of the same name. When premiered, the title song rose to become the #1 Christmas song on the world’s largest Internet music subscriber system. The gentle holiday love song evokes images of a simple time in life and features acoustic guitars over the gently-rocking bass.Click here to see a video and listen to selections from the album.

Ignite a child’s imagination with great books

Children haven’t had much time to experience the world, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t curious. Children are innately imaginative and curious, and reading great books together helps to fuel those powerful tools.

Musical feast or famine

It’s feast or famine around here when it comes to live music. It’s been a pretty good feast for the last few weeks. Lewisburg’s Stroll Through the Arts this past Saturday night included some dynamite performances, including the debut performance by PA Crude, a five-piece blues band, the Folk Justice Band and the Williamsport Vocal jazz Quartet, plus others I didn’t get to hear.
