Now Hear This: Friday, Nov. 8

The King Street Coffee House is in full swing. Tonight’s line-up consists of Jack Brunner, The Harrisburg Mandolin Ensemble and Lawson & Disorder. This biweekly musical event is held at Townside 2, 253 Front St. in Northumberland. At $7, it’s a great deal to enjoy three artists. Doors open at 6 p.m., the music is from 7-10 p.m. Snacks, desserts and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase.

If you are looking for a hip-hop show, the Holiday Inn in Danville, which always draws a nice crowd, is the place to be tonight. All Day Audio and T-Ravill are on the bill. The music starts at 9 p.m.

Brandon Barnhart will be at McGuigan’s Pub, Market Street, Sunbury. He starts at 6:30. 

Pianist Gabriela Martinez from Caracas will be performing at The Weis Center for Performing Arts in Lewisburg. Check her out at www.gabrialmartenizpiano.com. 

The show starts at 7:30 p.m. For tickets, go to www.bucknell.edu/weiscenter.

Sally Struthers will be at the Williamsport Community Arts Center performing “Hello Dolly.” The show starts at 7:30. Tickets can be purchased at www.caclive.com or at the box office.

Regular Friday events include Alf Bashore playing dulcimer for the lunch crowd from noon-2 p.m. at Brews N Bytes, Lower Mulberry Street, Danville and Lux Bridge is at The Bull Run Tap House, Lewisburg, starting at 7 p.m.
