— If your inner crooner feels like breaking into song you are in luck. Skeeter’s BBQ, on Victor Lane in Shamokin Dam, is the place to be from 5 to 8 p.m. Chris Trasatti and the Valley’s hardest working country crooner, Frank Wicher, will host an open mic night. Lots of songs and unexpected sounds will be on the menu.
Back in Williamsport, the Community Arts Center will feature “An Acoustic Evening with Lyle Lovett and John Hiatt.”
Tickets start at $37.50 for the 7:30 p.m. show filled with the distinct songs from two legendary performers. Lovett, by the way, is the ex-husband of Julia Roberts.
