— Tonight a band from Shippensburg, Big Marge, will be at Daddy McFatty’s, 95 Queen St., Northumberland. They have an unusual sound. Almost like a dirty swamp blues (complete with a harp blower) mixed with some hard rock. This is a band worth checking out. Their website is www.bigmargemusic.com.
Kimbo and Bryan on the patio at White Oak Tavern, Route 225 north, about 3 miles south of Herndon, from 7-10 p.m. They have really good food and a great patio to enjoy the music on.
Chris Haney and Greg Snyder will be at McGuigan’s Pub House in Sunbury from 6:30-8:30. The Frank Wicher band will be at The Links in Buckhorn from 8-11. Reservations are recommended. Ricky and Harv are at The Front Street Station, Northumberland, from 7-10, while Lawson & Disorder are at Puirseil’s in Lewisburg from 7-8 p.m.
Also tonight, The Center City Villains, a rock band from the Williamsport area, are holding a CD release at The Mill Tavern. Two bands, Audio Box and 13 Prime, will be opening up for them. It all starts at 10 and there is a $3 cover.
Tonight is the first outdoor concert of the season for Ye Olde Meeting Place on Route 405 north of Milton. Hometown band Triple Dose will be rockin’ the rafters from 8-11 p.m. There is a $5 cover.
Allison Standby is at The Hilltop near Danville starting at 10 and Jeff Brown is at McGuigan’s in Sunbury from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Also in Sunbury, The Frank Wicher Band will be at The Friendship Hose Co. from 9 p.m. to midnight.
