— It sure has been a crazy busy summer! It’s hard to believe it’s almost over. There are still some festivals to attend, if that’s your thing. The Peach Music festival at Montage Mountain begins today at noon. There will be more than 20 bands performing this year including two central Pennsylvania bands. Also Miz and Cabinet are on the bill with Grace Potter and the Nocturnals; Gregg Allman’s son Devon and his band the Royal Southern Brotherhood and many other national acts.
Devon is an awesome musician. It would be a real treat if Gregg joined him on stage. For festival particulars, go to www.peachmusicfestival.com.
Other shows today include PA Crude at the Selinsgrove Commons at 6:30 p.m., The Frank Wicher Band at the Shikellamy Overlook Park at 6 p.m. and Jim McClincy at McGuigan’s in Sunbury at 6:30.
Triple Dose will rock their hometown tonight in Milton. Come on down to the Gazebo on Front Street at 6:30, grab a burger and enjoy some good rock.
Across the river, Greg Burgess and Bev Conrad will be at Puirseil’s Irish Pub in Lewisburg starting at 6. Woody Wolfe will entertain at the Old Forge Brewery, Danville, at 7 p.m. and if you are a Blind Chitlin Kahunas fan, head up to The Brickyard on Pine Street in Williamsport. They are scheduled to play the outdoor stage at 8.
