— Here is a listing of area high school musicials:

WARRIOR RUN

What: “Once Upon a Mattress”

When: 7:30 p.m. March 20-22

Where: Middle school auditorium

Tickets: $8, available at www.wrsd.org

And: The Warrior Run Choir parents will be selling concessions each night prior to the show and during intermission.

MIFFLINBURG

What: “Anything Goes”

When: 7 p.m. March 20-22

Where: Mifflinburg Area High School Auditorium

Tickets: Premium reserved (all ages) $10, general reserved (students and adults) $8, general reserved (age 12 and under) $6.  For tickets, contact the high school office or Joseph Weisser at SUN Area Technical Institute, (570) 666-0659. Tickets also available at the door prior to each performance beginning at 6 p.m.

And: Auditorium doors open at 6:15 p.m.

SHAMOKIN

What: “The Music Man”

When: 7 p.m. March 21-22

Where: High school auditorium

Tickets: $10. Available in the district business office from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday, or by calling (570) 648-5752, ext. 4114.  

And: Director is Kevin Styer, assistant director is Mary Anne Stump. Art direction and set design by Shawn McGugan, Scott Anderson is technical director and choreography is by Natalie Page.

DANVILLE

What: “Working: A Musical,” based on the book by Studs Terkel

When: 8 p.m. March 21-22, 2 p.m. March 23

Where: Danville Middle School

Tickets: $8 adults, $5 students. Available at the door one hour prior to each show.

And: Sixteen Drama Club members are involved in the production. Musical director is James Vessey.

LINE MOUNTAIN

What: “Legally Blonde the Musical”

When: 7 p.m. March 21-22 and 2:30 p.m. March 23

Where: Line Mountain High School auditorium, 187 Line Mountain Road, Herndon

Tickets: $7 adults, $5 students and senior citizens. Tickets available at the door.

SHIKELLAMY

What: “9 to 5”

When: 7:30 p.m. April 4-5, 11-12, 2:30 p.m. April 6 and 13

Tickets: $10 premium reserved, $6 standard reserved

MIDD-WEST:

What: “Willy Wonka”

When: 7:30 p.m. April 10-12

Tickets: Reduced advance prices are $8 adults, students/seniors $6; general admission tickets at the door are $9 adults and $7 students/seniors.

SUNBURY CHRISTIAN ACADEMY

What: “Hello Dolly!”

When: April 10-12. Dinner 6 p.m., theater 7:30 p.m.

Where: Sunbury Christian Academy, 135 Spruce Hollow Road, Northumberland

Tickets: Dinner theater — $15 adults, $7 children (8 and under); theater only — $7 adults, $4 children (8 and under)

Menu: Coleslaw, rolls and butter, meatloaf, mashed potatoes with gravy, corn, carrot cake

And:  Winner of 10 Tony Awards including Best Musical, “Hello Dolly!” is one of the most enduring Broadway classics.

MILTON

What: “Children of Eden” by Stephen Schwartz and John Caird

When: 7 p.m. April 10-12

Tickets:  All seating reserved. Advance tickets: $8 adults, $5 students; at the door: $10 adults, $7 students. Tickets can be purchased online at www.miltonstage.com through April 9.

And: Freely based on the story of Genesis, “Children of Eden” is a frank examination of the age-old conflict between parents and children. Adam, Eve, Noah and the “Father” who created them deal with the headstrong, cataclysmic actions of their respective children.

SELINSGROVE

What: “Jekyll & Hyde”

Where:  Selinsgrove Area High School auditorium, main entrance, 500 N. Broad St.

When: 7:30 p.m. April 11-12, 2:30 p.m. April 13
