There is a whole lot of music going on tonight ranging from jazz to folk to outlaw country. You can catch Kimbo and Bryan at the Scarlet D Tavern on Chestnut Street in Mifflinburg from 8-11 p.m.. Duck Duck Goose and the Renegades of Funk from Philly will be at Daddy McFatty’s on Queen Street in Northumberland from 9 p.m.-2 a.m.
Also in Northumberland tonight, the King Street Coffeehouse at 253 Front Street is open, with music from 7-10 p.m. Featured this week are Chris Carithers, KJ and Van Wagner. There are desserts and various drinks, at the cover is $7. Swing-nova (Jay Vonada and Bill Stetz) is at the Green Drake Gallery on Route 45 in Millheim from 7-8:30, and Degrees of Syncopation is at Puirseil’s Irish Pub in Lewisburg from 7-8 with a variety of gypsy, latin and traditional jazz.
Then there is the Frank Wicher band at Dan’s Den, just outside Sunbury at the junction of Route 61 and 890, tearing it up from 9-mdnight, and Ricky and Harv are at McGuigan’s Public House on Market Street in Sunbury from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Take your pick of Friday’s music.
