Now Hear This: Sunday, Sept. 1

— Start your Sunday at the last brunch at the Shikellamy State Park this season. The Hotel Edison will provide the food and K.J. Reimensnyder is the entertainment. It all begins at 11 a.m. and goes until 1 p.m.

Or catch Sunday brunch in Williamsport while Burgess, Mitchell and Seal play jazz at the Bullfrog Brewery from noon until 4 p.m. As always, musicians are encouraged to join in.

And as they are every Sunday, Smooth Country and Spike Stamm will at the Shamokin Dam Fire Co. from 3-6 p.m. for open mic.

Later, Skeeter’s in Shamokin Dam will host Folk Justice on the patio from 6-9. 

Local musician Tony Halchak will be the guest on WQSU’s Home Made Jam  at 2. Tune in at 88.9 The Pulse (FM) and www.wqsu.com on the web.
